Wycombe Museum’s main hireable spaces are our Coach House and Old Stable. Originally used as the stable and coach blocks when Castle Hill House was a family home, these two rooms in our outbuilding are now used for events, as well as the museum’s learning services. Please see bottom of page for details on room capacity.

The museum is closed and not staffed on Saturdays. Our Saturday pricing reflects the cost of bringing additional staff onsite.
The Old Stable

Please note:
- Saturday hires are charged by the hour for a minimum of 3 hours, and will incur a £50 service charge.
- The Coach House cannot be hired by itself on Saturdays, only in addition to the Old Stable.
- The marquee can be booked in conjunction with the Coach House and Old Stables on Saturdays.
Marquee Hire

Wycombe Museum boasts beautiful grounds set against our Grade II listed building. Make the most of our stunning location all year round and host your event under our 28ft x 38ft Capri marquee on the lawn. The marquee has optional detachable side panels. Please see bottom of page for details on capacity. Please note that there will be a set up and take-down fee for marquee hire during the autumn and winter.

For that special occasion, Wycombe Museum offers the hire of our whole site – including the main museum building, stable block, grounds and marquee. We understand that all events are different, so requests for whole site hire will be managed on a case by case basis. To enquire about availability, discuss your requirements, or to view our facilities and grounds, please contact info@wycombemuseum.org.
Additional Information
Teas, filter coffee and biscuits or cakes can be provided by the museum for your hire. We handle catering enquiries on a case by case basis. Please let us know in your enquiry if you would like to know more about our catering options.
For all hires:
- A 50% deposit and a completed booking form are required to finalise your booking. No bookings are confirmed until this point.
- Evening hires of over 20 people will require two members of staff to be on site. Parties of over 60 will require three members of staff. Staff charges will be included in your hire quotation.
- Cancelled bookings may be liable to pay a percentage of the booking fee, depending on how short-notice the cancellation is.
- For ongoing weekly hires the Museum requires one week’s payment in advance.
For Community/Charity/Individual hires:
- Â Table & chair set-up can sometimes be provided by the museum at a cost.
*For Business hires:
