Short back and sides?
The adjustable head rest, padded leather back and arms of this barber’s chair would have kept customers comfortable whilst also allowing easy access for the barber whilst attending to the customer.
This chair was used in the shop of F. Springall and Co, Beaconsfield. The manufacturer was J. W. Clarke, a Hairdressing Saloon Fitter in 1909.
