Wedding & Venue Hire Co-Ordinator

Part-time, 15 hours min. per week, flexible according to on needs of role
12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of renewal)

Do you love working with people and have commercial experience running venue hire, events or weddings? Wycombe Museum is looking for an enthusiastic and committed person with a passion for events organization.

We are need someone to help run our weddings and venue hire for the next year, delivering current bookings to make sure couples have a wonderful day and that our conference and community room hires have a great experience. Venue hire at Wycombe Museum is all about developing our resilience and sustainability, so your role will not only be about ensuring our customers are happy, but also helping to keep a local and much-loved museum going.

You will be working as a crucial part of the small and dynamic team at Wycombe Museum focused on making the museum work for our local communities. This will involve balancing the needs of the commercial income with those of the museum and community, supported by the museum director and other staff. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a role in events and make it your own.

Role Summary

Hours: 15 hrs per week

Working days: Flexible depending on weddings and other venue hire needs – core days are likely to be Saturdays

Contract: 12 months fixed term, with potential for renewal

Salary: £9,600 p.a. (FTE £24,000)
