Community exhibition runs 13th Feburary – 15th September at Wycombe Museum.
John Hampden was a local landowner and Member of Parliament, from an ancient South Buckinghamshire family with a long tradition of public service.
Find out how he opposed King Charles I, fought in the Civil Wars, and died for his cause. See 17th century armour and weaponry on loan from The John Hampden Society and Battlefields Trust.

If you are part of a community group or local charity and would like to see an exhibition of your group in the museum, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at info@wycombemuseum.org.
What’s involved?
The group lends items that represent them to go in a display case and/or artwork for the walls. You will also write a couple of paragraphs for the introduction panel, and some information about what the items are.
Museum staff will edit the text, produce the panels and labels and install the exhibition.
