A Walk Around Wycombe Through Time

A Walk Round Wycombe Through Time runs 11th February  – 1st March 2026  at Wycombe Museum.

Entry is free.

Stroll through 150 years of Wycombe’s history.

Some parts of the town centre have been relatively unchanged through the decades, with views familiar to residents past remaining familiar to us now. But there has also been a great deal of development and change.

Culverted rivers, changes in industry, housing developments, markets old and new are just some of the changes.

This photographic exhibition reveals how the streets and open spaces of High Wycombe have changed through time. See historic photographs – some within living memory and some beyond – and compare them with modern views of the town you know today.

With interactive activities for all ages. Don your hard hat and become a town planner to design your perfect High Wycombe, dress as characters from Wycombe’s past, and colour scenes from the exhibition.
