Travels with My Chair – Greta Paa-Kerner, Gerrards Cross

“This rocking chair is special to me because I bought it in the Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA when I was dating my future husband. We took a day trip out to the country and I fell in love with it. The Amish don’t use electricity and so the chair was all done by hand. However, I still question how they were able to take a credit card payment for it if they don’t use electricity? This chair is very comfortable and all three of my children have been rocked to sleep in it when they were babies. I live in Gerrards Cross and work in High Wycombe.”
