“I just love my Parker Knoll chair, it is the perfect chair to sit in to do my bobbin lace and watch my chickens in the garden. For me, lace making is a hobby but I like to remember the generations of local women who worked hard making lace to earn a living. I especially think of them when I am unpicking a bit I have done wrong, knowing that the patterns they used were even more complex than mine!”
