“My favourite chair was previously my Dad’s favourite in the sitting room of my boyhood home in Cressex Road. It is now very much my chair – I don’t believe my wife has ever sat in it, nor did any of my three daughters when they still lived at home. I have it an upstairs multi-purpose room in my home. This gets the sun in the afternoon, when I like to sit in my chair to relax and plan my Nostalgia column for the Bucks Free Press!”
