“This is the Fireside chair by Teal of Stokechurch which we bought at auction for the princely sum of £7 at Wycombe Museum after it featured in the Millennium Chair Arch in High Wycombe town centre. The height fits my frame better than my wife’s so it has become ‘My Chair’. We have it in the dining room looking down the garden and many happy hours are spent bird watching in comfort.”
