Want to take part in our My Home in the Chilterns story competition, but not sure where to start? Or maybe your child needs a little help actually getting their idea down onto paper?
Come along to our free drop in workshops for some help getting your story off the ground, and to pick up your free Roald Dahl writing tips ahead of the competition closing on Monday 20th February.
More about the competition:
Wycombe Museum and Chalk Cherries & Chairs project are running a story competition that invites children aged 7-11 to create a short story that talks about ‘My Home in the Chilterns’. This could focus on:
The Chilterns as your home in the past present or future
What does home mean to them, and how does (or doesn’t) the Chilterns fit into that idea?
What is a home in the Chilterns like, or what could it be like in an ideal world?
What piece of the Chilterns would you take with you, if you were to find a new home?
