OrientePlus/ Power Cut is a brand new Signdance show written by Pedro De Senna with additional material from Tarik Ross Cameron and Lionel M. Macauley. It fuses music from Cuba with Signdance’s characteristic playful wickedness and spoken text in Spanish, English and Sign Language.
Oriente Plus was also inspired by a series of interviews about island memories and identity.

It is a story of the things that keep us together, even when the world tears us apart. A story about music, poetry and culture. A story that moves in it’s own way, sinuous, snake-like, circling like a vulture, gliding and drifting through the air.
