Event Details

Come and create your own landscape using a range of drawing materials, inspired by the grounds of the museum.

Join Chiltern Landscape Exhibition’s artist in residence, Jane Peacock, for an hour long workshop creating a landscape inspired by the wonderful grounds of the museum.

After doing some drawing exercises together in the marquee, you will be invited to take a selection of drawing materials, and a chair, and choose your spot in the grounds. You will have a variety of drawing materials at your disposal with which to create your landscape, seeking inspiration from the Museum and its grounds, flora and fauna, as well as some examples of famous landscapes from art history. Jane will walk round and spend time with each attendee, guiding you as she goes until you have created a lovely landscape picture.
