Looking for a relaxed movement workshop? Join us in July at the Wycombe Swan Theatre’s beautiful Oak Room for 3 FREE exclusive classes that will get you moving, meeting new people, and improve your mobility!

The workshops are chair-based, so perfect if you are working on gently building up your fitness or have mobility issues.

Each workshop will be different, so feel free to sign up to one or all of them. All participants in the one-hour workshop are invited to join us afterwards for 45 minutes for tea and refreshments. Anyone over 18 welcome.

Accessibility info: There is a ramp to the Oak Room entrance. The workshops are on the first floor. There is a lift suitable for one wheelchair user, or two standing passengers. One accessible toilet is in the Oak Room foyer.

Facilities info: There are toilets in the Oak Room foyer. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be served in the 45 minutes following the workshop.

Location: Wycombe Swan Theatre’s Oak Room. Please use the Oak Room entrance round the corner from the Old Town Hall entrance off Queen Victoria Road, HP11 2XE.

This event is part of the Chilterns Chairs Festival, running through July in celebration of the unique chairmaking heritage of Wycombe and the local area. With a varied programme of events, you’ll learn how the industry grew from the local landscape into thriving furniture production which proudly continues today. Join us to celebrate the stories, the chairs and the surroundings which make up our history. There’s something for everyone, so get involved!

The Chiltern’s Chairs Festival is being organised by Wycombe Museum and is funded by the Chalk, Cherries & Chairs Landscape Partnership.
