Babes in the Wood is an outdoor forest school session, where your little ones can enjoying nature in the Museum’s beautiful grounds, whatever the weather! Join us for an hour and a half outdoor play and exploring, with a different theme every time. These summer sessions are one-off taster dates before our Autumn blocks being in September.

Sessions can include any mix of exploring, cooking and singing around the campfire, playing, mixing mud, seasonal natural crafts and activities, swinging, building, and much more.

Babes in the Wood is for toddlers (around 18mth+) up to 5 yrs. Children should wear suitable outdoor clothing for the weather. Consent forms must be completed at point of booking. Advance booking is essential.

Tickets required for participating children – accompanying adults do not need a ticket.
