For Toddlers
With family favourites like our toddler storytime Tiny Talk Time, not only are children entertained with well-loved and newly discovered stories, but we help get little ones familiar with exploring museums, and getting excited by all of the interesting things they might find there!
Making use of our beautiful, peaceful gardens, Babes in the Wood is a toddler and pre-schooler forest school led by Nature’s Jewels, a wonderful local outdoor education provider with 30 years’ experience.
For Primary School Children
Every Tuesday and Wednesday during Buckinghamshire school holidays, we run Discover & Make workshops. These craft and learning activity sessions are based on a different theme each week, and get children to explore ideas about local history and the Chilterns landscapes, as well as branch out and get creative with a variety of different crafts! A new exhibition uncovering hidden stories of local LGBTQ+ communities in Victorian times, alongside celebrations of modern Pride. By Buckinghamshire Archives, Wycombe Pride, and Bucks New University's Students' Union.

A new art exhibition by award-winning Fractured Land Collective, exploring local stories of mystery and myth. With creative opportunities to get involved over the year.
A History of Wycombe in 10 Objects
Permanent display
Walk through a history of Wycombe with our permanent exhibition. Our galleries tell the story of Wycombe District through 10 key objects from a Prehistoric hand axe to a Modern Wycombe Wanderers rosette.
