Although the area is best known for chairs, by the start of the 20th century many other types of furniture were being made locally. By the mid-century, well-known names in the Wycombe furniture trade included Parker Knoll, Ercol and G-Plan. This room divider was made by G-Plan between 1958 – 1960.
