On Sunday 21 June, we were involved in a live Wycombe Windrush 2020 celebration zoom party. The fantastic event included talks, dancing, quizzes, singing, steel pan playing, and much more from local people in their homes. Running alongside the party broadcast was a team cooking and delivering food to members of the community.
Thank you to everyone who was involved, to the over 100 guests who joined in, and to Church Urban Fund who supported the event.
The team have put together a highlight reel of some of the best bits from the five-hour long event, and would love for you to take a look at some of what we enjoyed!
Thank you to:
- Church Urban Fund
- Daffodil Forbes and family
- Cheryl McDowall
- Sonia Pope and Alice Craft for catering and food delivery
