Babes in the Wood is an outdoor forest school session for toddlers and pre-schoolers in High Wycombe. Enjoy nature in the Museum’s beautiful grounds.

Sessions can include any mix of exploring, cooking and singing around the campfire, playing, mixing mud, seasonal natural crafts and activities, swinging, building, and much more.

Babes in the Wood is for toddlers (around 18mth+) up to 5 yrs. Children should wear suitable outdoor clothing for the weather – we embrace the rain!

Babes in the Wood is run by the wonderful Julie Hopton of Nature’s Jewels – a local educator and outdoorswoman with 30+ years experience in Environmental Education & Conservation, with an undying passion for nature and wildlife.
