Tiny Talk Time

Come along for stories, crafts and museum fun in this special time for 2 – 5 year olds! Tiny Talk Time runs on alternate Fridays during school term time, with a different story or rhyme as the theme of each session. Fox & Cubs Forest School

A toddler group out in nature. Join Fox and Cubs Forest School for lots of outdoor fun! We meet in any weather and enjoy exploring, playing, building, finding bugs, mixing mud, cooking on the campfire  and much more. Visit our Fox & Cubs page for more info and dates.

Make use of some store-cupboard staples to whip up something to keep you warm as the weather gets colder!

Let’s Cook is a project aimed at teaching basic cooking techniques, promoting healthy eating, home cooking, and reducing food waste in the community, and was started in conjunction with the Buckinghamshire Waste Partnership. Our session leaders have been trained and
certified by the Let’s Cook Project. All ingredients included. Eat what you make!

Stargazing Evening
Saturday 16 November
7 – 9pm


Get to know the night sky! This family-friendly introduction to stargazing will feature a talk from Dr Sandy Giles on how to find your way around the sky
using stars and constellations. This will be followed by some time spent looking at the stars through telescopes from the museum grounds with local Wycombe Astro experts, and dinner.

Ticket includes an alcoholic/soft drink, and dinner of a meat/veg chilli.
Please let us know about any dietary requirements at least a week before the event.

Let’s Cook: Christmas Treats

Get creative and make your very own snowman sticks. These sweet treats are perfect dipped in hot chocolate.

Christmas Fayre

Sunday 8 & 15 December | 12 – 5pm


Visit Santa in his grotto, explore our Winter Woodland Trail, meet real-life reindeer, decorate gingerbread, browse our local craft stalls, hear carols from local choirs and more! Entry to the fayre is free. Some activities are charged.

Winter Woodland Trail and Santa’s Grotto

Explore our Winter Woodland Trail, meet the reindeer who pull the sleigh and their elf handlers, before making your way into Father Christmas’s grotto to get your special Christmas present. Please select your entry time when booking – this will be when you meet with Father Christmas. You can then spend as much time as you like in our Winter Wonderland Trail.

Friends get 10% off
Max 5 children per time slot
Recommended for children aged 2-10. One ticket corresponds to one gift from Father Christmas. Babes in arms and accompanying adults do not need tickets.

The Winter Woodland Trail and Grotto is part of our Christmas Fayre, which is free to enter and features stalls from local crafters and businesses, festive food and drink, carols and more.

Our Winter Woodland Trail is available at a reduced rate between Monday 9 and Saturday 14 December to explore to trail alone, without meeting Father Christmas and his reindeer. No booking required, just drop in.
