Bring me the lamp! Be inspired by the museum’s Roman oil lamps  and make your own lamp out of clay. Sessions last 45 minutes.

Open Air Cinema: Back to the Future

Wycombe Museum is pleased to announce the return of our Open Air Cinema. See our beautiful grounds transformed into a community cinema. Bring along your own picnic blankets or deck chairs. Hot dogs, popcorn and a bar will be available. Film screening will begin 30mins after entry times. In partnership with Cinemas4Fun.

Discover & Make: Toy’s Stories

Let’s Cook: Introducing Spices

Monday 5 Aug l 2 – 4pm


Discover fragrant and colourful spices and their origins whilst making a one-pan curry dish and homemade chapatis. We will be cooking outdoors!

Let’s Cook is a project aimed at teaching basic cooking techniques, promoting healthy eating, home cooking, and reducing food waste in the community, and was started in conjunction with the Buckinghamshire Waste Partnership. Our session leaders have been trained and
certified by the Let’s Cook Project. All ingredients included. Eat what you make!

Fox & Cubs Family Fun

Come along to our outdoor Friday Family Fox and Cubs sessions with your kids. Sessions are held outside in the Museum’s beautiful grounds and based on Forest School ethos. We meet in almost any weather and enjoy exploring nature, free play, bug hunting, mixing mud, making seasonal crafts, cooking on the campfire and much more. This session is for ages 2 – 7. No charge for adults, and a child’s drink and snack are included.

Let’s Cook: Flatbread Pizzas

Opera on the Lawn  – with afternoon tea

Inflatables Fun Day

Sunday 1 September
12 – 5pm


Join us for a day of jumping fun with inflatable assault courses and bouncy castles. Book for unlimited bouncing for the duration of the event. Refreshments and bar available all afternoon. Tickets are required for those who can toddle/bounce by themselves without being held. Adults do not need tickets to supervise children.

Test your accuracy by kicking a velcro covered football on to a giant inflatable dartboard! See who can achieve the highest score.

Zorbing

Sunday 1 September
1 – 4pm


Climb inside the zorbs and race your friends and family. You are free to roll around, safely bump, crash and tumble around the arena.
Recommended age 8+, younger children may participate but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Totstock Music Festival

Come down and enjoy some late summer fun with pop-up children’s music festival TotStock. Introduce your kids to the power of live music with entertainment acts, toys and competitions. Refreshments and bar available all afternoon. Please note that all children need tickets for TotStock – there are activities for children of all ages, from 0 up.
