Come along to our outdoor Friday Family Fox and Cubs sessions with your toddler. Sessions are held outside in the Museum’s beautiful grounds and based on Forest School ethos. We meet in almost any weather and enjoy exploring nature, free play, bug hunting, mixing mud, making seasonal crafts, cooking on the campfire and much more. Sessions are suitable for toddlers and pre-schoolers, no charge for adults, and a child’s drink and snack are included.

Pop Up Play Village

Saturday 20 July

An exciting play experience for children who love to role play in a miniature village – visit the supermarket, vets, library, hospital and more! Children should wear socks or indoor shoes. Adults and children not yet walking are free. Best for 3 – 7s, but all ages welcome.

Community Fayre & Fun Day

Sunday 21 July
12 – 5pm


Join us on the lawn for a Community Fayre marking 100 years since  the Peace Day Celebrations, commemorating the end of WW1. With music supplied by the Lulala’s accompanied by a gramophone, swing dancing, vintage fairground rides, inflatable fun, community and craft stalls, outdoor games and sports and a circus skills workshop. Drinks and a delicious BBQ will be available to purchase on the day.

Inflatables Fun Day

Stargazing Evening
Saturday 16 November
7 – 9pm


Get to know the night sky! This family-friendly introduction to stargazing will feature a talk from Dr Sandy Giles on how to find your way around the sky
using stars and constellations. This will be followed by some time spent looking at the stars through telescopes from the museum grounds with local Wycombe Astro experts, and dinner.

Ticket includes an alcoholic/soft drink, and dinner of a meat/veg chilli.
