Discover & Make: Terrific Tiles

Tuesday 28 May | 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm
Thursday 30 May | 1.15pm, 2.15pm, 3.15pm


Be inspired by the beautiful locally-made medieval tiles from Penn and learn how they were made. Decorate your own tile coaster to take home. These 45-minute sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday during the school holidays, and have a different theme each week. They’re best for primary school aged children, but all are welcome – smaller visitors may need an extra helping hand from a grown-up! Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

Sensory Theatre: The Tempest – ‘Be Not Afeared’

Pop Up Play Village

An exciting play experience for children who love to role play in a miniature village – visit the supermarket, vets, library, hospital and
more! Children should wear socks or indoor shoes. Adults and children not yet walking are free. Best for 3 – 7s, but all ages welcome.

Peace Day Picnic

Sunday 21 July
12 – 5pm


Join us on the lawn for a Community Fayre marking 100 years since  the Peace Day Celebrations, commemorating the end of WW1. With music supplied by the Lulala’s accompanied by a gramophone, swing dancing, vintage fairground rides, inflatable fun, community and craft stalls, outdoor games and sports and a circus skills workshop. Drinks and a delicious BBQ will be available to purchase on the day.
